Rondo bracelet - stainless steel + multi ANb

Rondo á la Byzantine is a weave which incorporates the Helm chain with elements of Byzantine to create one amazing work of art.
This particular piece is made with two sizes of square-wire stainless steel and two sizes of anodized niobium jump rings. The resultant piece is quite heavy and stiff, but does not overwhelm even the tiniest wrist; it's only about an inch wide.

Niobium is a hypoallergenic pure element; #41 on the periodic table. The process of anodization adds color by creating an oxide layer with electricity, which allows the eye to see color. This means no dyes are used, and the resulting finish is iridescent and very scratch-resistant, especially when compared to other weaker metals. Niobium is heavier than steel, which means pieces made with that material have a satisfying weight when worn.
